Here at Legacy Custom Cabinets, we believe “Treat others as you would want to be treated” is more than just a good way to live your life, it’s also how we run our business. This means we strive to make everything we do just as we would want done for ourselves: from the initial consultation with you, to find out exactly what your wants and needs are, to the measure and design for your perfect cabinets and to the installation in your home; we are constantly working to provide excellent service.

Along with the good service comes the best available materials, you won’t find any particleboard in any of our cabinets. You will also find that our under-mount drawer glides and door hinges are all soft close. This is our standard hardware package, not an upgrade. We want your cabinets to be as functional as they are beautiful.

MIKE WESTERFIELD | OWNER

Mike Westerfield is the owner and operator of Legacy Custom Cabinets. Mike has been in the construction business for 30 years. He has been a business owner here in Kearney for 27 years. He has three children and is a proud new grandpa of two grandchildren. When Mike does get some free time he enjoys spending time with his kids, playing with his grandbabies, helping his loved ones with projects, working in his yard and his garden.

Steve King | Shop Manager

Steve King is the shop manager. Steve worked in the construction field for 20 years, he has done cabinets for the last 15 years and five of those years he has been working with Mike. He has been happily married for 24 years and a father of two children and lives right here in Kearney. Whenever he has time off he enjoys baseball, football, camping, fishing and hunting.
